Can you, um, share with me your secret for passing up the chocolate cake with creamy filling? I can't imagine being able to do that!


Somehow it's easier for me to pass up altogether, than to stick to a pledge to only have a little. Doesn't hurt that I'm doing this not for my own health, but as taking my personal ethos to the next level...so it becomes a decision not about something ostensibly superficial, like weight, but about morals! Makes the decision to "cheat" much more momentous.

It's all in the mind is my point, I guess.
