On a cheerier note: let's hear it for Sacramento!

Another Treehugger post lauds Sacramento...the capitol of my own home state...as "an up and coming green city."

The headquarters for the California EPA is in Sacto, and it truly sounds delightful, what with the "waterless urinals and worm composting for lunch scraps"!

I kid...sometimes being environmental requires thinking about, well, waste...and not just wastefulness.

I've never been a big Sacto fan, but it sounds like in this particular area, it's way hipper than SF, LA or Silicon valley. So, kudos to Sacramento!
