Novica: Comprehensive site featuring gifts from global artisans
Wow, a big hat tip to A Girl Must Shop for pointing me toward Novica. The site was created to connect online consumers to artisans from around the world making hand-crafted goodies for the home, the body, the mantle, whatever. Apparently National Geographic is a sponsor.
This is a pretty huge site with a lot of items for sale. You could while away a lot of your afternoon surfing around the site, just like I did. You could also probably get a lot of your holiday shopping done in one feel swoop on a site like this! So what if it's February, get a leg up on your 2007 Holiday list!
Cheesy animal lover that I am I love that they have a whole section devoted to animal gifts.
I was a little scared when I saw the category, because I thought it might be actual giving of animals to families a la Heifer International, which as a vegan I really can't support. But no, it's animal-themed gifts, which a quick perusal of my shelves and mantle and headboard makes clear that I definitely do support!
Each item's page includes information about the artisan and provides an avenue for customers to post their feedback or send a message to the artisan. You can also mark various artisans and therefore begin to create a custom Novica.
Cool site, don't you think?

Hi Novica
Reconoce que eres un intermediario mas, los precios de los artículos de los artesanos lo vendes a un 500 % del valor real, y encima le pagas despues de 15 o 30 días. No dejen que los siga engañando mas.
