Great thoughts. All due respect to her "rigourous" calculations, there are some that say boat travel is as damaging to the environment as air travel (and what about marine mammal issues?). For instance, see [ http://coinet.org.uk/projects/challenge/transport.php ].

Perhaps her wisdom is in reminding us that there are alternatives to the default "I have to be there tomorrow" perspective, and to take a moment to consider what these might be. From a Christian perspective, it's also worth noting that the right thing to do is not always the easiest.

Wow, you're quick Don! I know the right thing isn't always the easy thing, but I do kinda feel this takes it to new heights!
