Another great idea in keeping the next generation healthy is Bohemian Baby, a company making completely natural and organic food for babies. According to the EPA's "Guidelines for Carcinogen Risk Assessment", children receive 50% of their lifetime cancer risk in the first 2 years. Blood samples from children aged 2-4 measured 6 times higher in pesticides in those children eating conventionally farmed foods compared to children eating organic foods.
I couldn't find pricing info, but the way it works is that they deliver food to your door twice a week. They have a handy Bohemian Baby cooler that you place outside your door for delivery days, and they leave your order in it. They update their menus weekly, with a few different choices each week, lest baby gets bored.
I'm sure the community would love to hear feedback from people who have tried the service.

Bohemian Baby food is AMAZING! Its always so fresh and tasty and we love it. Our daughter eats it up and we feel great about giving it to her. The owners are so sweet and really take care of their customers. I always feel like a friend of the family. I would highly recommend Bohemian Baby to anyone with a new little eater! Its $3.50 a jar...WELL WORTH IT!

I tried Bohemian Baby's food for my 9-month-old son and I tried it myself- my friend Jennifer had a few jars left from a tasting party. After sampling their food, Jenn and I have decided to go with another organic, kosher baby food company called Homemade Baby. Jenn and I were most miffed at Bohemian Baby's overly pricey 5-ounce jars ($3.50/per jar), PLUS their high start-up fee, PLUS their delivery/re-delivery fee, etc. Instead, we found Homemade Baby, a company based in Culver City. My son loves the taste of Homemade Baby's food, and personally, I think it tastes better and fresher myself. The cost of Homemade Baby's food is $2.00 for a 4-ounce cup, and there are NO shipping/delivery/re-delivery/start-up fees or costs, either. You just order what you want from their menu, then voila! The order shows up by UPS overnite at my home. I just think all of you should know of the alternatives out there. Susie Caruso

I have to say that I cannot deisagree more with the comments made about the pricing and conveience of Bohemian Baby. I have been getting this ervice for months, and we LOVE it! The food is ALWAYS fresh and tastes great and they make so many different things. THere are many times I have forgotten to place an order within the time frame, and they always find a way to accomodate me. THe set up fee gets you a really cute cooler and they throw in 4 jars for free. I looked up homemade baby, and they only have about 6 flavors. My baby wants to have many different things. I honestly do not know what I would do without Bohemian Baby. My son loves it so much, and it makes me happy to know that I am feeding him such delicious food. I love their packaging and mostly their service is awesome. You really feel like a part of a family. Kudos Bohemian Baby!

Hello, When we found a baby food company that delivered organic, fresh, non heat treated baby food, we were overjoyed. Then when we enjoyed the amazing variety of food choices that Bohemian Baby offered us every week we were totally happy. Our baby Taz was in love with their Pumpkin recipes and my husband and I love Bo Baby's concept of seasonal eating. As a first time mom I am so comfortable with the attention and the willingness to answer all my questions that I have received from our baby food company. The cooler we received when we signed up as a customer is so convenient..we use it every Sunday at the park. The only issue I have with Bohemian Baby is that their food is so fresh and yummy my husband won't stop eating it. I keep trying to tell him that since we had a baby, he can't be the baby anymore. Thanks again Bo Baby. You are truly nurturing.
